WELCOME TO THE 2010 SUMMER TENNIS SEASON!!!
HAMPTONS SURF & TENNIS offers a full range of Group and Private tennis lessons for players of all ages and levels of play. Our programs combine a magnificant setting with top notch instruction in such a way that you're sure to enjoy an amazing tennis experience. Whether you're a beginner looking to get started in the game or a high level player looking to work on more advanced skills we'll be happy to help you improve and develop your game. The Learning enviornment is always Social, Relaxed and Fun with extremely well qualified pro's directing the programs.
ADULTS
Our Adult Summer Tennis Camp consists of two clinics per/day.
Morning Session (2 hours) - we tend to work on the most relevant techniques of the game including; sound racquet and feetwork; balance; concentration skills; strategy; match play; various drills; appropriate conditioning and more. Most people don't realize that there are actually 13 different strokes in the sport of tennis and through our focus on technique in the morning sessions our goal is that each student understands the basics of all of them.
Afternoon Session (2 hours) - In the afternoon we take what was learnt in the morning session and try to apply it in actual supervised match play. As such we'll pair participants off and serve them up in practice matches; round robins; singles; doubles, etc. - whatever is appropriate to each groups level of play. During this time the Pro will observe and sometimes particpate in these matches and give as much useful feedback as possible to students.
Total court time is 4 hours/day.

KIDS
For children we offer Private, Semi-Private and Group lessons. Our objective is to constantly make the learning process Fun while at the same time making sure that each student learns as many new skills as possible. Once again, in tennis there are 13 strokes to be learnt and our ultimate objective is that our students learn and understand each and every one of them.
The learning enviornment is Open, Relaxed and Fun!!!
PRO SHOP
Located on the East End of the lobby we now have a fully renovated, state of the art Pro Shop. Racquet Re-Stringing, Rentals, Balls, Polo and T-Shirts, Grips, Instructional Videos, Sun Screen and plenty of expert advice are all available.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private Lessons can be booked through the Pro Shop. They're available to enthusiasts of all ages and levels of play. Lessons are customized to meet students needs. In other words, if you're the more serious type we'll make you work and focus. If you're easier going we'll laugh and learn together. Perhaps you just want a great work out? No worries - get ready to sweat. No matter what your objective you can be sure that our pro's will take great pride in every lesson taught. As such you're sure to enjoy a terrific tennis experience.
